Tamara Aleksanyan
Communications Committee Co-Chair
Tamara Aleksanyan has been a dedicated MASS AWIS volunteer since 2024 and serves as the current Communications Committee Co-Chair.
Professionally, she is a Research Associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she focuses on genomics and the development of scalable diagnostic technologies. Her academic background includes master’s degrees in Analytical Chemistry and Clinical Research.
In her board role, Tamara is dedicated to ensuring that MASS AWIS communications continue to celebrate and amplify the voices of women in STEM across Boston. She is focused on making the organization’s platform an intuitive, highly accessible space where members can easily connect, discover events, and engage deeply with the community.
