Ruby Pina

Ruby Pina-Mimbela is a Translational Scientist with extensive experience across pharma, biotech, and academic settings, specializing in assay development and robust troubleshooting to advance preclinical oncology and autoimmunity therapies.
She holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Peru, an M.Sc. in Veterinary Preventive Medicine from The Ohio State University, a Harvard GSAS Business Club Mini-MBA, and an MITxPRO Project Management certification.
A dedicated MASS AWIS volunteer since November 2025, Ruby strongly believes in the organization's mission to empower women in STEM through technical mentorship and professional development.
Outside the laboratory, she enjoys running, doing yoga, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
