Priya Dutta
Outreach & Engagement Co-Chair
Priya Dutta is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biology at Brandeis University, where she studies sensory neuron function and ciliary biology. Her research has been published in Current Biology, PLoS Genetics, and Journal of Cellular Physiology, and she has presented her work at major conferences including ASCB, EMBO, and the International Worm Meeting.
Priya has been an active MASS AWIS volunteer, contributing to outreach and community‑focused events such as the Museum of Science STEM Day, Speed Networking, and the Girl Scouts STEM Fest.
She is passionate about science communication, building inclusive communities, and expanding opportunities for women in STEM. As a Chair, she aims to strengthen chapter visibility, foster partnerships, and support engaging programming that connects and empowers members.
