Pamela Klecki
President, Events Committee Co-Chair
Pamela Klecki is a Senior Research Technologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she manages and coordinates a laboratory whose research focuses on investigating how histone modifications and chromatin landscapes govern cell fate, pluripotency, and nuclear reprogramming.
She holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Vienna, an M.Sc. in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna, and an M.Sc. in Experimental and Medical Biosciences from Linköping University. Her academic and research training spans stem cell biology, developmental biology, epigenetics, and regenerative medicine.
Pamela is passionate about advancing opportunities for women in STEM and fostering an inclusive and supportive scientific community. Since joining MASS AWIS in 2022, she has served as Chair of the Events Committee and has contributed to the development of professional development programs, networking events, and initiatives supporting women across all career stages in science and technology. She is also actively involved with the Women in Cell Biology Committee of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB), where she contributes to initiatives that support the advancement and visibility of women in the life sciences.
As President of MASS AWIS, Pamela is committed to strengthening the organization's impact through community engagement, mentorship, leadership development, and strategic partnerships that empower women in science.
In her free time, she enjoys reading biographies, spending time with friends, salsa dancing, and practicing yoga.
