
Neha Garg
Mentoring Committee Co-Chair
Neha Garg, PhD is a Director in the R&D Asset Transition and Integration Office at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where she leads global asset transitions across the full lifecycle, including integrations, externalization, returns to partners, divestments, and asset wind-downs. She partners closely with cross-functional teams and external collaborators to advance complex R&D programs, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure operational excellence across governance, risk, and lifecycle management.
A scientist-turned-industry leader, Neha brings deep expertise in alliance, integration, and program management, with experience spanning discovery through commercialization. Over the course of her career, she has managed and led several academic and industry collaborations and played key roles in major biopharma post-merger integrations, driving alignment, value realization, and operational excellence.
Neha is passionate about building inclusive, high-performing teams and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in science. She has led initiatives focused on fostering psychological safety, mentorship, and leadership development within R&D organizations.
As Mentoring Co-Chair for the 2026–2027 MASS AWIS Board of Directors, Neha is committed to strengthening the chapter’s mentoring programs, which support women in STEM through career development, peer learning, and community-building mentoring circles designed to enhance leadership skills and professional growth
Outside of work, Neha enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and traveling.
