Then come join us for an interactive workshop where Dr. Daniel Jay (bio below) will share tips and tricks to help you craft and deliver the perfect elevator pitch! Dr. Daniel Jay
Dean of the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine
Professor of Developmental, Molecular and Chemical Biology
Adjunct Professor of Drawing and Painting and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Daniel Jay is the Dean of the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine and Professor of Developmental, Molecular and Chemical Biology, and Adjunct Professor of Drawing and Painting and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. He received his B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. from Harvard University with Guido Guidotti. He stayed at Harvard as a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows, as faculty in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department at Harvard University where he was named the John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Natural Sciences. He moved to Tufts University School of Medicine in 1998 and became Dean in 2017. His research is focused on cancer metastasis and the tumor microenvironment and on the art-science interface. His mission as Dean is to train to career excellence across the biomedical workforce.
