Join Me For Coffee: Tedra Cobb, President, Tedra L. Cobb & Associates

MASS AWIS is offering an opportunity to make professional connections across a variety of career paths. ‘Join Me for Coffee’ gives a chance to meet with a STEM professional for 1 hour online. Participants will not only learn about that person’s career but also establish a new professional connection. These events are a great opportunity for participants to practice networking in an intimate setting, a skill that helps open doors to meaningful careers in STEM. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

The upcoming ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event series will feature Tedra Cobb. If you would like to participate in this ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event, first complete the event application form. A committee will then review all applications and select 4-6 participants for each event. Selected applicants will be notified by email at least one week prior to the event. Upon selection notification, you will be required to formally register for the event and pay the registration fee via our secure website. Selected applicants who fail to complete registration on time forfeit the opportunity to participate.

Tedra Cobb

President, Tedra L. Cobb & Associates

Tedra Cobb is President of Tedra L. Cobb & Associates - a consulting organization focused on strategic planning and organizational development, action planning, and evaluation with non-profit organizations, community coalitions and for-profit companies. Tedra Cobb lead companies through strategic and organizational development, design and implement leadership training, and provide English Language coaching to groups and individuals.  In 1999 she established a community health agency to help thousands of Northern New Yorkers by securing funds and expand their access to health care. Currently, she is running in New York's 21st Congressional District.

Prior to her career as a trainer and strategic planner, Tedra was an international recruitment specialist at the State University of NY at Potsdam. As a specialist, she designed and developed business and campus opportunities relating to international education and English language programs as well as assisting International Education & Programs department with special projects

Event Fee (upon acceptance): FREE for AWIS members & $5 for non-AWIS members.
