MASS AWIS is offering its members an exclusive opportunity to make professional connections across a variety of career paths. ‘Join Me for Coffee’ gives a chance to meet with a STEM professional for 1 hour at a coffee shop or café. Participants will not only learn about that person’s career but also establish a new professional connection. These events are a great opportunity for participants to practice networking in an intimate setting, a skill that helps open doors to meaningful careers in STEM. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
The upcoming ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event series will feature Mohini Rajasagi. If you would like to participate in this ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event, first complete the event application form. A committee will then review all applications and select 4-6 participants for each event. Selected applicants will be notified by email at least one week prior to the event. Upon selection notification, you will be required to formally register for the event and pay the registration fee via our secure website. Selected applicants who fail to complete registration on time forfeit the opportunity to participate.

Director, Oncology Translational Science and Clinical Biomarkers, Merck

Mohini Rajasagi is a cancer immunologist with more than 10 years of experience in leading academic and pharmaceutical institutions after she earned her PhD. She is currently Director, Oncology Translational Science and Clinical Biomarkers at Merck, where she is Biomarker lead for Oncology assets and disease indications. Previously, Mohini worked at Pfizer as Principal Scientist in Centers for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI) where she was Lab head, Lead Oncology discovery programs in collaboration with academic partners. Mohini also worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Research Investigator where she was Lab head, Lead for immuno-oncology discovery and translational programs.
Mohini has a PhD in Immuno-Oncology from German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), a M.Sc. in Biotechnology from University of Essex and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Bangalore University. Mohini completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Her postdoctoral work on neoantigens has contributed towards the launch of a startup company funded by Third Rock Ventures, Neon Therapeutics (Cambridge, MA).
