Hiba Siddiqui

Hiba Siddiqui is a Research Technician at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, where she investigates tumor-immune dynamics and therapeutic resistance in bladder cancer. She holds a BSc in Health Science and Medical Spanish Interpretation from Benedictine University and is currently preparing for her MD-PhD journey. Hiba joined MASS-AWIS in 2025 and is a dedicated advocate for fostering community and mentorship among women in STEM. She is also the founder of the South Asian Heart Health Initiative (SAHHI), a tax-exempt pending nonprofit dedicated to promoting cardiovascular health awareness in South Asian communities. Hiba is passionate about building a culture that empowers women to thrive in research and medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys writing on health equity topics, volunteering at heart health initiatives, and exploring new fitness challenges.
