Yael Zigelman

Yael is a scientist at Orna Therapeutics, where she leads the Plasmid Production team responsible for generating DNA templates for circular RNA (oRNA) production. She is a passionate molecular biologist with a BSc in Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University and an MSc in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Yael joined MASS-AWIS in 2021 and is a graduate of the MASS-AWIS Leadership Program. She wholeheartedly believes in the power of MASS-AWIS as a platform for forging meaningful connections among women in STEM. Yael is committed to fostering an environment that provides unwavering support and inspiration to women pursuing their professional ambitions. In her free time, she enjoys solving logic puzzles, crocheting, Lindy Hop dancing, and spending time with loved ones.
