JMFC
Each JMFC brings a STEM professional from a particular field of science/industry and individuals interested in the field together for an hour. Participants have a chance to engage in informal discussions, ask questions, and network in a relaxed setting.
OPEN HOUSE
Our annual open house event is an open invitation for everyone who is interested in MASS AWIS to get together with all our committee members and volunteers. During the event, participants get a chance to learn about MASS AWIS committees and events and to attend speed networking as well as fun activities.

Workshops
Monthly/Bi-Monthly workshops provide an opportunity to gain or improve diverse sets of skills needed for individuals’ career projection in STEM fields.

Panels & Seminars
Panel and seminar events invite multiple or a single STEM professional to give a detailed analysis and insight into a single topic, such as Building Your Start Up. These events tend to be larger than our JMFC series but still incorporate time for informal networking and discussions.

Speed Networking
Our Flagship Speed Networking event is a unique opportunity to connect with professionals from various backgrounds in STEM fields including patent law, science philanthropy, science communication, alliance management, project & program management, medical science liaison, etc. in short 15-minute rounds.

Mindfulness and Resiliency
As women in STEM, we constantly seek to cultivate our resilience to reduce our daily stress, shatter stereotypes, stand up for our rights and gain more visibility. Improved resilience helps us to ground and create time for ourselves which in turn boosts our self-confidence and productivity.
