About the event
Join us on March 28th for a full day of inspiring speakers, live science presentations, hands‑on activities, and community partners — including MASS AWIS, proudly highlighting the women shaping science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Stop by the MASS AWIS table, staffed throughout the day by our board members and core team. Learn about our programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and community network — and enjoy space‑themed activities for all ages, from designing your own rocket to coloring pages featuring trailblazing women in space. We’ll be sharing resources, pathways, and stories that illuminate the many ways women drive scientific discovery.
Observed each March since 1987, Women’s History Month honors the vital contributions women have made to science, culture, and society. At the Museum of Science, these stories come to life through engaging programs designed to inspire visitors of all ages.
Free admission for the MASS AWIS community is available using promo code WHM26.
