Emily Green

Emily is a postdoctoral data analyst at Harvard Chan Microbiome Analysis Core. She received her PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology (conc. Microbiology) from the University of Connecticut in 2021 and a B.S in Biology from the University of Findlay in 2015. Emily joined AWIS in 2023 as a mentee of the mentoring circles, where she was mentored by the previous Treasurer. After the mentoring circle, she joined the financial team as a volunteer, enjoying being part of a supportive community of like-minded women. In her free time, Emily enjoys staying active, visiting with friends and family, cooking/baking, playing the cello in the Waltham Philharmonic, and traveling.
